Did you know, all of these things play a role in your overall health and wellbeing?⠀
⠀
If improving your wellness has been on your mind lately, and you're not sure where to start -Swipe on through for easily digestible/ small changes to consider.⠀
⠀
The key is starting! Starting small with changes that don't pull a 180 on your sanity/schedule and doing your best to stay consistent.⠀
⠀
Let's look at some benefits of implementing these small steps for better health:⠀
⠀
Eating Habits 🥗:⠀
You probably know this stuff! Drink more water, eat more veggies. But I feel like when we are presented with improving our health by changing our diets, that can often feel incredibly restrictive and not easy. Which is why so many of us can't quite seem to stick it out. In my practice, I don't encourage restriction, but just simply addition to what you are doing right now. ⠀
⠀
Relationships💕:⠀
Having meaningful & fulfilling relationships in your life can make a world of a difference on you health. And I'm not just talking about romantic relationships, but your friendships, family relationships, work relationships etc. When these are all harmonious, (not saying they are perfect but overall, they are not adding constant stress and conflict to your life) your mental and physical wellbeing automatically increases. This can either mean, letting go of toxic relationships or simply nurturing those good relationships in your life now as it is a fundamental human need to be social creatures. ⠀
⠀
Movement 🤸🏻♀️:⠀
I know you guys also know this one too! What I'm fond of saying is bodies in motion tend to stay in motion, & bodies at rest tend to stay at rest. Getting in the habit of just moving more can do wonders day to day, especially if the majority of your day is spent at a desk or in one place. ⠀
⠀
Mindset/ Self Care 🧘🏻:⠀
Take care of you. You will not be able to show up for the people you care about, for the work you do, or for anything if you run yourself into the ground. You are worth it. Repeat as many times as needed⠀
⠀
Environment 🏠:⠀
A clean, peaceful, and uncluttered space, ultimately results in the energetic state mentally and physically to perform your best.
